Head of performance marketing

Our client is looking for a strategic-minded, self-motivated individual to join the team as Head of Performance Marketing in HCMC, Vietnam. You will have the opportunity to build, manage and support key consumer-facing marketing programs that are designed to drive user acquisition, lead generation, activation, and engagement in Vietnam – a key market that is reaching 2 million users. You’ll also be responsible for analysing and reporting the performance of these programs for the company’s leadership team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the highly talented product and operations teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Set direction and execute plans to achieve growth goals

  • Drive and own all performance-marketing activities, including: paid search, keyword research, campaign management, landing page strategy, ad-group optimisation for reach and conversion to CPA targets

  • Optimize channels’ performance with analytic means to match the benchmark in the industry.

  • Focus on the ROI of all marketing activities and have the creative ability to constantly improve performance

  • Increase brand awareness via digital channels

  • Recruit, mentor, and manage an A team to meet business objectives

  • Develop in-house marketing automation

  • Identify growth opportunities, develop new and innovative growth strategies

  • Seek & develop marketing partnerships

  • Create, manage and analyse performance marketing experiments

  • Monitor and report on performance marketing effectiveness and user activity, and act upon this intelligence

  • Keep up to date with the latest trends, opportunities and learning in online marketing, and implement new key learnings accordingly

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with analytical or mathematics disciplines (E.g. Business, Statistics, Marketing or a related major)

  • Tech-savvy, strategic-minded, diligent action taker, lifelong learner

  • 5 years of experience in Digital Marketing, Performance Marketing and/or Data Analytics with 2 years in management or leadership role.

  • Quantitative background with strong analytical skills and data-driven approach.

  • Advanced Knowledge of Facebook Analytics, and/or similar analytics tool (Google Analytics, Firebase, Google Data Studio, Mobile App Attribution Analytics).

  • An “A-team” player with excellent interpersonal skills & leadership skills

  • Native Vietnamese with English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading and writing.

  • A flexible, positive attitude with the ability to manage, prioritize tasks and make decisions in a fast-moving environment

  • Enjoy following of the latest social media trends, tech trends and customer behaviour.
